As House GOP Outlines National Abortion Ban Zach Nunn Wants to Go Further, Eliminating All Abortions, No Exceptions
WEST DES MOINES – Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy recently released the Republican Commitment to America, an updated GOP agenda that shows Zach Nunn is more extreme than his own party’s platform on issues like abortion.
While the Republican plan calls for protecting “the lives of unborn children and their mothers,” Zach Nunn is pro-life, no exceptions – even when a mother’s life is on the line.
“Zach Nunn’s own party recognizes that his belief that all abortion should be illegal and with no exceptions is dangerous for women and too extreme for voters. It’s no wonder Zach Nunn has tried so hard to take back his words, but Iowans know where he really stands on the issue,” said Paige Godden, spokesperson for Cindy Axne for Congress.
