Des Moines Register: Axne and Hubbell will seek better health care (Letter to the editor)

For people who have pre-existing conditions or a disability, daily life brings ongoing anxiety.
Will Medicaid pay for a person to help me dress for the day so I can go to my part-time job? Will I be forced to go to a nursing home because of lack of in-home services? If the Affordable Care Act goes away, how will I pay for cancer treatments?
Like businesses that need predictable economic plans to support growth, individuals with special health needs require predictability in the care they receive. Uncertainty causes havoc for those who choose to be active members of the community.
I say we should ax that fear by voting for Cindy Axne and Fred Hubbell, both of whom support the notion that it is the right of every individual to receive good health care.
